About us
Mary Elizabeth and Julian Kaufman
Mary Elizabeth and Julian began their marriage with a travel adventure in 1993. Julian, a first generation Italian-American, naturally wanted his new bride to see Italy from north to south, and that is what they did - for 30 days! They have been traveling throughout the world ever since. Mary Elizabeth began working in the travel industry in 2012, crafting distinct and bespoke travel experiences. Julian not only has shared in these travels but he has also acquired expertise through his connections with the industry. They launched Via Curato to help others enjoy these unique and transformative travel experiences around the world.
Via Curato Planning & Consultation Fees
Travel Design fee
$250 per person for up to 2 weeks of travel and 2 countries.
For more than 3 countries and/or 3+ weeks of travel, the fee is advised after our initial Travel Design Call.
Hotel-Only Bookings
The fee is often waived if you know when you want to travel and the property you wish to stay.
$100 per hotel for research involved in finding the perfect property.
Concierge Services when only booking a hotel - $150 for up to 5 reservations (including dining reservations, spa appointments, tee times, hotel activities, etc.). This is in addition to the hotel booking fee.
Air travel fee
$50 per person, per ticket fee.
Includes research, booking, and day-of flight monitoring/support. In addition to standard travel consulting and management fees. Does not include award ticket travel.
Private Air bookings carry no additional fee for clients already planning with Via Curato.
Booking Within 60 Days of Departure
$250 in addition to standard travel consultation and management fees.
Groups of 7 or More Travelers
The fee is advised after the initial Travel Design Call.
